In 2017, I attended the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities (FONOM) annual gathering in North Bay to speak to the attendees. I wanted to get to know more of their stories and speak to the women that had been elected in 2014, to hear about why they became involved in politics and how they had won their respective seats.
