Victoria leading the way to an electric future

Victoria’s city council has big plans to electrify the way residents get around their city. BC’s capital has launched a long-term strategy that will more get electric vehicles (EVs) on its roads.

Council voted on March 10 to adopt a new electric vehicle and mobility strategy. The new strategy calls for a $60-million investment in electric charging infrastructure over the next eight years. The city is expected to contribute around $15 million, with the rest
