Throughout the pandemic, some members of the city’s marginalized population have found the transit system as a safe place to congregate and shelter. It’s important for these individuals to be provided with consistent, coordinated, and culturally appropriate social and safety support.

The Community Outreach Transit Team (COTT) has been helping vulnerable Edmontonians within Edmonton’s transit system since September 2021.
