The Regional District of Nanaimo’s (RDN) Governance and Services Study for Electoral Area F (Area F) is moving into the community engagement phase with a series of open houses. The feedback received through the open houses will be used to help develop recommendations for the governance and services study final report. The final report and recommendations are anticipated to be presented to the RDN Board in the spring of 2023.

The study, which encompasses all of Area F (Coombs, Hilliers, Errington, Whiskey Creek, Meadowood and surrounding areas), is being led by a study consultant in collaboration with a committee of nine Area F residents. The Area F Director also serves on the committee in a non-voting capacity.
