Situated on a bend in the South Saskatchewan River, Saskatoon had a population of 246,376 residents in 2016 which makes it the biggest city in the province. Perfectly positioned on the Trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway, in the center of the province, the city serves as the cultural and economic hub of the prairies.
