The Augusta Township council has unanimously voted to appoint Steve McDonald as the new Chief Administrative Officer.
Mcdonald has spent most of his almost 40-year career in the Leeds and Grenville area, serving as CAO at Elizabethtown for 13 years before it amalgamated with Kitley and CAO of Edwardsburgh Cardinal and the chief administrator at South Dundas for 10 years. He also served as CAO of Muskoka Lakes before retiring in 2019.
“I look forward to building on the relationship with Mayor Malanka and council and working with the staff team to continue to provide residents with excellent service,” said McDonald.
