The Town of Georgina has appointed Ryan Cronsberry to the position of Chief Administrative Officer. Cronsberry began his career in Georgina 23 years ago as a summer student and has been with the Town of Georgina since 1998 progressing through various roles within the organization. He has had progressive responsibilities with the Town serving as the Manager, Municipal Law Enforcement to our Deputy CAO and most recently as the Acting Chief Administrative Officer. Cronsberry holds a Master’s Certificate in Municipal Management through the Schulich School of Business and certification in Municipal Administration, Employment Law and Human Resources from AMCTO.
“Mr. Cronsberry brings strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills, as well as his ability to work through issues with a focus on exceptional customer service and issues resolution,” said Mayor Margaret Quirk. “He is a solution-focused leader and his knowledge and background in municipal government is truly a tremendous asset to the Town.”
“I am very honoured to take on this new challenge. I have benefitted from working closely with previous CAO’s, Mayor Margaret Quirk, Council, the community and staff over the past 23 years, and am looking forward to this new challenge,” said Cronsberry. “We have all faced challenges over the last year and a half, but I am confident that we are well-positioned to recover from the pandemic stronger than before.”
