The Town of Erin has announced the appointment of Nina Lecic as director of legislative services and town clerk, effective April 22.

Lecic has worked in the municipal sector for over 15 years, including three municipalities of varying sizes, challenges, and budgets. She prides herself on developing innovative change management solutions, focusing on leading teams to determine inventive, efficient solutions. Lecic has served on the AMCTO board and the Western Local Government Alumni Society and is in the process of completing her Masters of Public Administration from Western University.

Before assuming her position at the Town of Erin, Lecic gained experience as manager of legislative and legal services/deputy clerk at the Town of Milton and worked as part of Wellington County in the Township of Puslinch.

In her position as director of legislative services and town clerk, Lecic will be responsible for managing the administration of the town’s legislative functions. This includes providing support services to the council and committees, as well as overseeing the Human Resources and Information Technology functions within the town’s business units.
