The District of Hudson’s Hope is pleased to announce that Mokles Rahman has been selected as the new chief administrative officer for the district, effective November 23, 2020.
Mr. Rahman has been with the district since December 2018, in the role of Public Works Director. Rahman takes over from Chris Cvik, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Mayor Dave Heiberg said, “We are very fortunate to be able to promote from within. We received several resumes from qualified candidates, but in the end, over the past two years, Mockles has demonstrated his ability to tack large projects and council is looking forward to more great results in the future.”
The district has begun a search for a new Public Works Director, with Rahman continuing to oversee on-going projects until a replacement is hired.
