Following a comprehensive recruitment process, Mayor Joe Preston and the members of the City of St. Thomas council announced the hiring of Michael Bradley as the new city manager.

“St. Thomas is a community with a historic past and an amazing future, and significant opportunity for growth and development,” Bradley said. “I am pleased to join the city and work with the mayor and city council, city staff and all community members. I look forward to delivering on the city’s priorities to ensure continued opportunity for St. Thomas, the Elgin County community, and the broader region.”

“We are excited to welcome Michael to our community, which is poised for continuous significant growth and a certain brighter future,” Preston said. “His extraordinary public sector leadership experience and extensive background in supporting significant activities that enhance economic and community development will be of great benefit to the city.”
