McMillan LLP has announced that Marc Kemerer, a leading Municipal, Land Use Planning & Development lawyer, is joining the firm as a partner in the Municipal Group.
Kemerer is based in McMillan’s Toronto office and brings his experience advising developers, landowners, institutions, municipalities, and individuals regarding large residential, condominium, commercial, retail, subdivision, and aggregate developments. His practice encompasses all aspects of land development, land use planning, municipal bylaws, and governance and aggregate extraction.
He also has considerable experience with respect to municipal conflicts of interest, landlord/tenant disputes, expropriation, heritage and conservation authority permitting, and development charges matters.
