Jennifer Nelson will be joining the Comox Valley Regional District as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on January 4, 2022. Nelson comes to the role from the City of Courtenay, where she has been the Director of Financial Services since 2018. Holding a CPA, CGA, and being a member of the Government Financial Officers Association, Nelson has a deep background in financial planning and working with the public.
“Ensuring effective financial planning and fiscal responsibility is a top priority,” said Russell Dyson, Comox Valley’s CAO. “We are excited to have Jennifer part of our team.”
