Brennan Hall

Town Administrator
  • Organization: Town of Carrot River
  • Posted: February 16th, 2021

At a special meeting of town council on February 9, council accepted the resignation of Administrator Kevin Trew, effective March 19, with his last office day being February 26. Trew first started with the town in May 2012 and has served as administrator since that time. Council of the Town of Carrot River wishes to acknowledge Trew’s passion for the well-being of the community and his efforts in supporting staff and council through many changes in the past nine years, as well as hi role as a community leader in championing projects such as the development of the Saskatchewan’s Outback brand. Trew had informed council in the fall 2019 that he would be leaving the Town of Carrot River in 2020 or early in 2021 so that council could begin succession planning.

Mayor Dennis Letendre has announced that Brennan Hall has been appointed Administrator of the Town of Carrot River, effective February 10. Hall has been employed with the Town of Carrot River since April 2020 and he was appointed as Admin-in-Training, effective October 1, 2020. Hall has the education requirements necessary to fulfill the job and will be receiving mentorship from Tew over the next year to receive his Standard Certificate. Hall first came to the community as general manager of the Outback Thunder Hockey Organization in 2019 and has resided in the town ever since.

“Because of all the circumstances involved, town council is expecting a very smooth transition,” said Letendre as, on behalf of council, he extended gratitude to Trew for his dedicated service while looking toward a bright future with Hall taking up the banner to continue to work toward the town mission of “supporting the delivery of sound municipal services to the residents, customers, and visitors of Saskatchewan’s Outback.”
