Kitchener cycles its way to efficient sidewalk management

A new and somewhat unusual city vehicle is being tested on the sidewalks of Kitchener, Ontario. A high-tech tricycle, which uses a leading- edge software program developed by the city’s engineering rehabilitation staff, provides improved sidewalk safety, allows more targeted sidewalk management and has unexpectedly introduced the potential to generate revenue for the city.
