In the past decade, the frequency and intensity of natural disasters have increased dramatically, with municipalities facing unprecedented challenges in response and recovery.
A Federation of Canadian Municipalities study found that over 60 per cent of Canadian municipalities lack integrated emergency management tools, highlighting a critical gap in disaster preparedness.
