Situated within one of the most densely populated regions of Canada, the Credit River watershed encompasses approximately 1000 square kilometres of scenic and diverse southern Ontario landscape. Nearly 1500 km of streams and creeks empty into the Credit River, which meanders southeast for nearly 90 km from its headwaters in Orangeville, through nine municipalities, finally draining into Lake Ontario at Port Credit in Mississauga.
