Canada’s city parks are struggling to cope with inadequate budgets and an evolving array of issues, according to a new report on the state of city parks.

The 2024 City Parks Report is authored by Park People, a national organization focused on improving Canada’s city parks. Over the past six years, Park People has been collecting park data and stories from cities across Canada to inform its annual Canadian City Parks Report.
