The Township of South Frontenac in eastern Ontario has appointed Louise Fragnito to the position of Chief Administrative Officer. Fragnito has previously served as the township’s Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer and has been interim CAO since February 1.
Fragnito is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 16 years of experience in the municipal sector. She has also “played a significant role in developing strong financial sustainability for South Frontenac,” the township said in a press release.
“I have gained a wide range of knowledge and experience during my time with the Township, and I look forward to putting those skills to use in this role, ” Fragnito said. “My focus moving forward is to continue the Township’s efforts in increasing community engagement, public communications, and providing a positive customer service experience for all residents and visitors.”
“Having been a key part of the Township’s senior leadership team for many years, Ms Fragnito has proven that she has the skills, experience and passion for the community that is needed to ensure South Frontenac continues to grow in a vibrant and sustainable way,” said South Frontenac Mayor Ron Vandewal. “We are both honoured and excited to have Louise lead this organization for years to come.”
