The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is pleased to announce that Lisa Grant will be joining the RDN senior leadership team as the General Manager, Planning and Development on February 22, 2022.
“On behalf of the Regional District of Nanaimo, I am excited to welcome Ms. Grant to the RDN. She brings extensive experience to the planning and development portfolio, and we look forward to working with her,” said Douglas Holmes, CAO, RDN. “I would also like to thank the planning and development team for their support during this time of transition.”
Ms. Grant brings 15 years of experience in the public sector including her most recent role as Director of Development Services with the City of Port Coquitlam. She has a Master of Planning from Dalhousie University and has worked for both municipal and regional district governments in British Columbia. She will be using her wealth of experience and leadership skills to guide the department on its path of continuous improvement and in building strong relationships with our various partners in public service.
“I am looking forward to bringing my skills and experience to the Regional District of Nanaimo and working with the Planning and Development team,” said Ms. Grant. “My family and I are eager to enjoy all the great benefits of island life.”
