Natural person powers: an illusion?

Will the introduction of “natural person powers” enhance and expedite municipal administrative authority? Will this concept, already introduced in Alberta and Manitoba, reduce the need for legislative research prior to the enactment of by-laws? Will the new process be cost-effective?

Regrettably, if the new Ontario legislation is worded in accordance with the draft proposals, the answer to those questions will be “No.”
