At its 1999 annual conference in Ottawa, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) board of directors approved and endorsed proposed changes to its education programs and review procedures. The changes will take place beginning in the year 2000 when IIMC will introduce its new Master Municipal Clerk Program.

Master Municipal Clerks Academy

Effective January 1, 2000, the Master Municipal Clerks Academy (MMCA) will replace the current Academy for Advanced Education (AAE). The Academy program
