The Prosecutors’ Association of Ontario (PAO) was formed in 1995 for the purpose of uniting legal counsel, prosecutors and enforcement staff from municipal, provincial and local agencies. Its purpose is to promote ethical practices, maintain and improve the qualifications and standards of the profession, share information for the mutual benefit of its members and to protect the character and status of the profession.
