While it passed without fanfare, the City of St. Thomas recently marked a significant milestone: its first anniversary as a “Municipality of Promise.” Just over a year ago, the city council committed the entire community to supporting the goals of Ontario’s Promise, the non-partisan initiative that encourages all sectors of society to work together to benefit children and youth.
