On August 21, 2011, one of the most powerful tornadoes to hit Ontario in decades devastated the beautiful Lake Huron town of Goderich. This was a tragedy of enormous proportions, and I have no wish to add to that painful experience by unfairly criticizing or blaming anyone for what happened afterwards. Nevertheless, any catastrophe from which we fail to learn is dark indeed, and if we can take a lesson from the Goderich events, then
