Municipal role in climate change

In October 2018, two economists, Professor William D. Nordhaus from Yale University and Paul M. Romer from New York University, were awarded the 2018 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.1 What is particularly interesting is that both economists researched the unintended side effects from economic activity that included climate change and its impact on growth over the long term.
