Pickering Museum Village is partnering with local breweries to present the Temperance and Temptation self-guided driving tour.

Take the tour for the inside scoop on this region’s scandalous past. Listen in on how the pressure mounted until the Bluenoses who supported Temperance openly clashed with the bootleggers and moonshiners who defied the movement every night. The Temperance and Temptation driving tour promotes businesses in South Durham as part of a regional tourism initiative encouraging people to explore their own backyard and support local businesses. Stops on the tour include Pickering Museum Village, Falcon Brewing Company, The Brock Street Brewing Company, and Town Brewery among others. The driving tour is self-guided and includes safe distancing practices.
