Jon Linton

JON LINTON is a management consultant specializing in strategic planning and community economic and tourism development. He has worked in this field for nearly 30 years and his clients have been municipalities, economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, destination marketing organizations, provincial and federal government departments and agencies, downtown revitalization organizations, social service agencies, and many other not-for-profit associations with varied mandates and responsibilities, some too bizarre to mention.

He has worked extensively across Canada (literally from Victoria to St. John’s) as well as in the US and beyond. He was a Partner with Ernst and Young and left them in the mid-nineties to help form TCI Management Consultants, where he has been happily ensconced ever since. Never a dull moment in his consulting career.

Jon is an inveterate reader and for some strange reason enjoys books about public policy and the role of government (as well as more mainstream business books, science writing, and the occasional novel). He thought this might be put to good use by offering to review relevant publications for MW, and the powers that be apparently agreed, so here he is. The picture above shows him when he had slightly more hair than he does at present.

Jon can be reached at TCI Management Consultants at 99 Crown’s Lane in Toronto, M5R 3P4 and at (416) 515-0815. If you’re reading this, you’re obviously electronically active, so you could visit the TCI website at http://www.consulttci.com or drop him a note at jlinton@consulttci.com. He’d love to hear from you.
