You will provide visionary leadership to the County’s Planning & Development Services Department including the supervision of 16 FTE. You will review and make recommendations related to land use matters (subdivision, development, bylaw enforcement), provide professional planning advice and consultation to stakeholders, and manage the department’s current and long-range planning activities and systems. You will represent the County at meetings of various boards, tribunals, committees and other hearings, and will communicate effectively with the development community on a wide range of planning matters. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; the ability to deal effectively with elected officials and the public; and sensitivity to business/political environments with a demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently and motivate and lead staff are required. Remuneration: $81,165 to $99,541 per annum
