As Director, Parks and Recreation Services, you will take responsibility for the planning, development, general and financial management of parks and green spaces, an extensive trail network, facilities, the harbour and leisure services programming. In this keystone role, create long range and annual plans and budgets that align services with requirements. Play an active role in developing and promoting programs, facilities and special events. Oversee construction of new venues. Lead, coach and develop your managers and teams. Continually safeguard the assets of the Town while developing best possible practices and policies on behalf of the people of Collingwood.

An accomplished leader and manager of programs, facilities and people, you have earned a degree in Recreation and have had at least seven years of experience directing a municipal parks and leisure department. Experience with a harbour and marina management would be an asset. Essentially a general manager with knowledge of budgeting, planning, marketing, project management and government grants, you are ready to take on a key role with a community that truly values the importance of leisure.
