WinterLights Photo Contest!

Our photo contest winner for 2009/2010 is Paul Wash. His photo "Back Alley Lights, City of Kingston" was chosen from among many entries to be featured on the cover of the December 2010 issue of Municipal World.

Beginning in 2011, Communities in Bloom will accept nominations for a new WinterLife Award, presented by Municipal World.This new special achievement award will be added to the awards presented each year at the National Symposium on Parks and Grounds and Awards, to be held in October 2011 in Quebec City.The WinterLife Award will acknowl-edge strong community participation for winter season activities, including use of municipal space in winter months, festive season celebrations, and winter festivals and events. The winning community will also have their photo on the cover of a winter edition of Municipal World. Watch Communities in Bloom and this page for nomination and submission details.
