Dr. Greg Baeker is a Senior Consultant with AuthentiCity and a nationally recognized leader in integrated cultural plans for cities.
Greg has completed cultural plans for cities of all sizes in Ontario and other parts of Canada. These range from large urban centres such as Toronto (he is co-author with Glen Murray and Pauline Couture of the Creative City Planning Framework for the City of Toronto); to small rural areas (his Cultural Strategic Plan for Prince Edward County in Ontario received a top award from the Economic Developers Council of Ontario in 2006).
Prior to joining AuthentiCity, Greg served in senior leadership positions in Canada for 25 years as a policy maker, cultural planner and academic. As founding director of Euclid Canada, his previous consulting practice, Greg completed more than 40 projects for clients in Canada and internationally.
Greg is a frequent speaker at workshops and conferences. He publishes extensively and is a regular contributor to Municipal World. He holds a Masters in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and a PhD in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo.
